The Royal Mail and Royal Mint's Golden Wedding Crown offer a fittingly dignified tribute to the Royal Couple whose fifty years of marriage have won the admiration and respect of people the world over. The reverse, designed by Leslie Durbin and modelled by Philip Nathan, features side-by-side the arms of the Royal Couple. Appearing above is a Royal Crown, and below Leslie Durbin has chosen an anchor to symbolise the distinguished naval career of The Duke of Edinburgh.
