Back in the late sixties I was offered two blankets loaded with coins.
Apparently two sisters ran a haberdashery in my home town just after the second world war. At the end of each day instead of banking all the days taking's, it looks like they kept back the nice new silver coins to take home and sewed them into the blankets.
It turned out a good deal the two blankets turned out over a thousand coins all silver with three dates only 1944/45/46 half-crowns and florins.
Only now have I dug them out of the safe and started down loading the 1945 florins to my website, hope my customers enjoy looking through these coins.
