A profile of the Queen sculpted by Arnold Machin, OBE, RA, appears on the obverse of all nine coins, encircled by the inscriptions QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND. SILVER WEDDING 1972. The distinctively varied reverse designs have been sculpted by Norman Sillman, ARCA, FRBS.

Depicts The Royal Mace of Jersey, presented by King Charles II in 1663 in gratitude for hospitality during his exile in Jersey.
