This commemorative cove was issued in honour of the 25th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Postmarked in London with the official 2nd June, 1978 commemorative hand-cancellation, the cover bears four Jubilee stamps issued by the British Post Office. The Sterling Silver Proof medal, minted by The Franklin Mint is a cameo-shaped portrait of Her Majesty. The original design on the cachet depicts the golden State Coach, built in 1761 for King George III.
