The first King George V
Australian halfpenny was
minted in 1911, and the last in 1936.

The King George V era Australian halfpenny obverse features
the robed and crowned bust of King George V facing left.

The reverse shows an inner beaded circle with the words 'ONE HALF PENNY' above a small scroll, surrounded by the legend: 'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA', and the date below.
