1903 coins struck at the Royal Mint in London (which do not have the H) have W.H.J Blakemore's design slightly modified with the Imperial State crown and 22 leaves in the wreath. The obverse portrait in profile of Edward VII is surrounded with the inscription "EDWARDVS VII D. G. REX IMPERATOR" TRANSLATION: Edward vii, king and Emperor by grace of God. The reverse face value, accompanied with the inscription "CANADA" is surrounded with two maple boughs and a crown of king Edward VII. Note: a tiny coin 15.49mm with a weight of 1.167 grams.
