Portrayed in finely detailed relief is the Isle of Man Steam Railway's locomotive No. 1 "Sutherland" fitted with a snow-plough to clear the Peel to Douglas line for a following passenger train. Behind the locomotive, a worthy citizen helps with the snow clearing whilst, in the foreground, a small boy builds his snowman perilously close to the railway line!
